Hey there! I am excited to bring you my first edition of A Joyful Home. I have been designing for over twenty years and I have learned so much from my clients while creating their spaces. Everyone lives differently, what might work for someone will not work for everyone. There is no “one” way to design. Every house is different and unique and every person(s) living in the home is different and unique. I am not a trendy designer, I don’t design one way, and I don’t have a branded design look. I only design for my clients. I discover what they like, and actually, the most important thing for me is to know how they use their home. Are they organized, are they minimalists, are they a maxmilist’’s, are they clean, what do they use each room for? Do they eat at the dining table or do they eat at the Island or maybe on a sofa?
I have created A Joyful Home to give you ideas on how to make your very own home Joyful. My definition of a Joyful home is a home you come home to each and every day or night and when you walk in you immediately feel like this is the one place where you feel JOY. You know how you feel when you walk into your favorite Boutique and it smells good, looks amazing, and is merchandised in a way you know exactly where to look. That is exactly what I am talking about for your home. Your home smells good when you walk in. You have a place to drop the things in your hand. If it is daytime, you see all the light shining everywhere and if it is the night you see all the sparkle because your lights are on, they are controlled remotely. Your home not only smells good but it is clean and for the most part, everything has a place to be put. You have created a place that you never want to leave. That is a Joyful Home. It’s not a house it is a Joyful Home.
Ideas for your Front Door Entry into your home or maybe you enter through a garage, either way, I have pulled together looks for that area. It is merchandised and it gives you Joy when you walk in.
