Interior Designers

We know as an Interior Designer you have to wear many hats from design and all the drawings to marketing, to billing, to networking, to sourcing, and the list goes on. We would love to help you with all your 3D Renderings so you don’t have to take the time to do them, you don’t have to hire an employee just to do renderings and/or you don’t have to learn the software to do 3D Renderings yourself.

We at Dina Marie Joy Designs will work with you and do all your 3D Renderings so you can present to your clients exactly how their space will look. In today’s world, if you are able to produce these types of drawings which look very realistic, your clients will be more than impressed. We work directly with you, not your client.

Give us a a quick email or sign up for a 30 minute FREE Consult and we can go over what we do and find out how we can help you be more productive.

Home Owners

If you are doing a remodel but you think you need help with the visualization of the project, contact us and let us help you with those drawings. It is important that you get your project done right, you don’t want to be in a situation where you hate it after it is installed. Imagine spending $25K on a bathroom remodel just to discover you don’t like how the tile looks on the wall? With a professional 3D Rendering we will show you exactly how your space will look, there will be no questions in your mind and if you don’t like something, it will be simple to change it on our computer screen rather that IRL (in real life)!

We look forward to working with you on all your design projects.

Week #11 - The Joyful Home Project - Give Your Space a Plant-Over

We have arrived to Week #11 of The Joyful Home Project. This week we are going to add plants to your space(s). Give your Space a Plant-Over, and add some amazing plants. Adding plants to your home brings the outdoors in, it adds a feel of calm, they look beautiful, and it’s always a good thing to bring nature into your home.

Week # 11 of The Joyful Home Project with Dina Marie Joy. Give Your Space a Plant Over. www.dinamariejoy.co

My advice to adding plants into your home is to start small. Maybe just add one plant into your home especially if you don’t have any yet. After you feel comfortable add another. Before you know it, you might have a home filled with different plants. Remember when you are adding the plants into your space, you need to think about natural light and you also need to think about watering them by putting your plants on a watering schedule.

I have my favorites which I will share with you now…

So this week if you don’t own any plants, go out and buy just one plant. You can purchase them at your local Grocery Store, Home Depot, Lowes, Farmers Market, and yes Amazon! If you already have a plant, think about adding more.

For me taking care of my plants and watering them is very therapeutic, I enjoy it and they make me very happy. I love finding a new leaf on them and I have propagated many already. Good luck, and enjoy adding plants into your space(s). Give Your Space a Plant Over!!

Probably not, right! Let’s change that this week. Let me help you with some ideas. Week #9 - The Joyful Home Project - Work Your Space

Week #9 The Joyful Home Project with Dina Marie Joy. Work Your Space. www.dinamariejoy.co

Here we are together at Week #9 of The Joyful Home Project. This week we will be organizing, decluttering, and cleaning our desks off and I am calling it, Work Your Space! Sometimes (and I am guilty of this too,) our desk surfaces become so cluttered we re-locate ourself to work somewhere else like our dining table. Are you guilty of this? I know, my desk will have so many piles on it, I get overwhelmed and I just go to my dining table. Well this week we are going to tackle our desk surface and clean it up. We are taking back our desk surface, Work Your Space!!

The way to go about this, is the following. Trust me this really works. I have tried several ways and this is the only way to keep your desk surface clean and for me it will last for the entire month and by the end of the month, I see my desk is starting to have piles on it again so I just start over every month. I am hoping that I will get better and stretch is out to 2 months or even every quarter but we have to take this is small steps. So here you go…

Steps to Declutter your Desk Surface in a week

  1. Clean everything off your desk surface - put it on the floor or another table

  2. Clean the desk surface with water and dawn in a spray bottle or something organic that smells great and cleans all the dirt and dust.

  3. Make piles/stacks of the stuff you took off your desk - for example - to toss, to file, to save, to donate, to put away, etc.

  4. Now that you have the piles/stacks do what you need to do to get all of that away

  5. You might need to get a container, or a file, and/or a box to clean and declutter everything you took off the desk. The goal is to not bring it back to the desk surface. Put it away, throw it away, and/or file it away.

  6. Now rearrange your desk surface with the essentials that you need and give yourself a high five! Share your pictures on Instagram at @thejoyfulhomeproject

I have some inspiration pictures for you here to get ideas on your desk surface! Good luck, I can’t wait to see your Before and After’s. #thejoyfulhomeproject

Week # 8 The Joyful Home Project with Dina Marie Joy. Dina Marie Joy is a Vacation Home Expert. www.dinamariejoy.co

This week we are moving into the bathroom to Elevate your Everyday. One room you for sure use everyday is your bathroom and this week your are going to elevate it to the next level. Your bathroom should be clean, organized, smell amazing, and be functional. It does not matter what size your bathroom is- big or small, it just needs to function properly for you.

The first thing you will do this week is clear your counters. Your counters should be clear of clutter and “stuff.” Use your drawers, cabinets, medicine cabinet, and/or something to contain all your “stuff.” You can always use the Toilet Tank Lid as a shelf. Purchase a tray that fits on the toilet lid and store your must-haves on the tray. The tray is the crucial part in case you need to remove the lid and when you are cleaning, you just raise the tray to remove everything.

Clear the clutter on your countertop’s in your bathroom today and store the “stuff” elsewhere. As always, I have some great examples below for you.

Week #7 - The Joyful Home Project - Make an Entrance

Hey you! We are working on Week #7 now which I am so excited to introduce you to this week. Make an Entrance! Your Entrance into your Home is what makes you happy when you arrive and what greets your guests when they come over! So what does your Entrance look like? If it is a hot mess, no worries that is why you are doing The Joyful Home Project and this week you will focus on your Entrance into your home.

The Joyful Home Project with Dina Marie Joy. Week #7. www.dinamariejoy.co

You Entrance is your Front Door but the really Entrance is when you walk into the Front Door. Do you have a drop station? Everything should look tidy, clean, and organized. You should have s spot for your mail, your keys, your handbag, your shoes, your coat, and whatever else you bring back with you on a regular basis.

If I had the opportunity to come to your home, I would tell you that your Entry Way is your Focal Point and not only should it be tidy, clean, and organized but it should greet guest with something unexpected, something they didn’t see coming, inviting, fun, bud edgy maybe even over the top!

I put some ideas for you together below…
